
Fredrick Odoyo Orwa is a dedicated Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN) with extensive experience in patient care, surgical support, and nursing leadership. Since joining BSR Hospital in 2019, he has grown through the ranks from Primary Nurse to Chief Nurse, where he currently oversees nursing operations and clinical staff management.
In his role as Chief Nurse, Fredrick supervises and mentors clinical staff, coordinates Continuous Medical Education (CMEs), and ensures the highest standards of patient-centered care. He plays an active role in surgical procedures, providing both pre- and post-operative support, as well as critical care in ICU and HDU settings. His expertise also extends to inventory management, patient billing oversight, and maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of care.
Fredrick holds a Diploma in Community Health Nursing from the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), Nairobi Campus. His clinical experience spans across leading hospitals, including Kenyatta National Hospital, Pumwani Hospital, Mathari Mental Hospital, and Kauwi Sub-County Hospital, where he trained across specialties such as psychiatry, maternity, surgery, and pediatrics.
Known for his commitment, innovation, and compassion, Fredrick is passionate about advancing nursing practice and improving health outcomes in the community. Beyond the hospital, he actively engages in charity work aimed at uplifting community health standards.
