
Sheilah Wanjiku Kamau is an accomplished communications and operations professional with over eight years of experience in healthcare management, public relations, and stakeholder engagement. Since joining BSR Hospital in 2016, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the hospital’s growth and reputation as a leading specialist center in brain, spine, and rehabilitation care.
At BSR Hospital, Sheilah has successfully led high-profile initiatives including the Hospital Launch (2017), Stroke Center Launch (2018), Hydrocephalus & Spina Bifida Symposium (2020), and the Scientific Trauma Symposium (2024). Her expertise in strategic communications, event management, and stakeholder relations has been instrumental in strengthening partnerships, enhancing visibility, and building trust with patients, partners, and the broader healthcare community.
Sheilah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication (Public Relations) from Daystar University and is currently pursuing a B.A. in Psychology & Counseling with a focus on Clinical Psychology. She also brings international exposure from leadership and academic programs in the USA and China, equipping her with a global perspective and cross-cultural leadership skills.
